Bringing Art Home

CommonRoom Exhibits at Decorex 2016

We are very excited to be exhibiting at Decorex International this year where we will launch our new collaboration and design by The Grantchester Pottery who are frankly fabulous.

Decorex is, and always has been the interior design show for interior design professionals. It’s long standing reputation has proven the test of time and we are thrilled that this year we will be a small part of it.

Our stand is inspired by a well-known artists collective from the early 20th Century but we’re keeping schtum about that for now until big reveal on 18th September. If you’re interested please follow us on instagram – or even better – come along and see the new wallpaper in all its glory.

Our visit last year to Decorex was more of an information gathering mission than anything else but below are a couple of pictures of our favourite stands and exhibits from the 2015 show:

The luscious Lyngard ceramics had a small but sumptuous stand showcasing their ceramic lights. They were also incredibly generous with information about how the show had been for them including the costs and logistics of exhibiting at Decorex. I was very grateful. Here are some pictures of their stand:

Ceramicist Katherine Morling‘s incredibly intricate work could also be seen as part of the Future Heritage stand curated by Corinne Julius. Also loved (the kind of disgusting) Max lamb!
