Anna Chapman Parker

Anna Chapman Parker (b.1978, York) studied Fine Art at the University of Edinburgh, and gained an MA from Wimbledon College of Art, London. Her work is concerned with immersive experiences in landscape, often using drawing to explore our relationship with wild plants in the context of contemporary concerns around digitalism, attention, the body and environmental fragility.

Anna’s recent exhibitions include Sonikebana commissioned by Edinburgh College of Art for Edinburgh Art Festival, Imprints: Art Edits Modernism at Shandy Hall, Yorkshire and I sat till I could see no longer at Fife Contemporary Arts, St Andrews. Her writing has been published in MAP magazine, Rake’s Progress and Happy Hypocrite.
