Casa Estudio

Focusing on the design of exhibitions, furniture and print CASA ESTUDIO is the design studio founded by designer Andrés Ros Soto and artist Giles Round. Their work is characterised by bold use of colour, pattern and geometry. Recent work includes the redesign of the Parlour at Sketch, London, 2017 and the 3D and graphics of the exhibitions ‘Magnificent Obsessions and Francis Bacon and the Masters, Sainsbury Centre, Norwich’, 2015-16. Since 2010 CASA ESTUDIO has designed a range of homewares for online retailer MADE. Andrés Ros Soto creates engaging environments characterised by the bold colour centred around narrative and story telling. Ros Soto’s designs are heavily influenced by Latin American modernism and brutalist architecture. Giles Round engages with materials, processes and collaborators to address the relationship between art, design and functionality. He frequently references early and late modernist art and design. Casa Estudio have designed Parlour for CommonRoom.
