James Ferris

James Ferris (b. 1980, based in Japan) gained his BA in Philosophy and Fine Art from Reading University (2003), and anĀ MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, London (2009). Recent solo and group exhibitions include 5050 Limoncello, London (2012) dienstgebaeude, Zurich (2012); āMy Brother is a Hairy Manā, George Polke, London (2011); āYoung British Artā, Limoncello, London (2011); and āLetās Be Civilā, And/Or, London (2011). In 2014 James was artist in Residence at USF, Bergen, Norway and exhibited in āI am a Paintingā, Kumu, Tallin, Estonia. This year he has been awarded the prestigious Derek Hill Foundation Scholarship at the British School of Rome.
