Anna Chapman Parker’s design began with a 6th century drawing of a bramble in a Byzantine manuscript, a precious herbal once owned by a Constantinople princess. This prompted a trail of research through later versions of the herbal which, as Anna drew them, began to weave together into a thorny tapestry. Thicket charms a room with a feeling of enclosure and spins us into the realm of ancient fairytale with arching twists at every turn.
This moonlight colourway is printed using silver metallic ink on a Prussian blue background.
