Abi Ola

 

Abi Ola (b. 1996, based in London) gained her BFA from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2019, and MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art, in 2021.

Recent exhibitions include solo shows “High Street Happenings” at Arbeit Studios Palmers Green, 2024, “I’ll Be Your Mirror” at the Kupfer Gallery, 2023. Group shows, New Contemporaries at the South London Gallery, Humber Street Gallery, and Ferens Art Gallery, 2022-23, Ferens Open at the Ferens Art Gallery, 2023, and The Good Eye Projects end of residency group exhibition at Christie’s, 2022.

In 2021 Abi was awarded a place on the University College of London, Faculty of Arts and Humanities Dean’s List, and in the same year the Almacantar bursary award.

 

Abi has designed Hatch in Indigo & Rust and Chequerboard in White & Black for CommonRoom.
